Relay: AI agent project management
JIRA for AI Agents
Relay turns a plan into managed delivery. Create a project, break work into tickets, launch and hand off agents, retain the reasoning behind changes, and finish the day with a reviewable view of the project.
MCP tool: task_board
Plan
Discuss the outcome with an agent, then capture the approved work as a project plan and tickets.
Delegate
Assign priorities, workspaces, acceptance criteria, and bounded handoffs so agents can work in parallel.
Deliver
Review decisions, Git evidence, validation, risks, blockers, and the work left for the next session.
Start with an approved plan
Use Relay after the project conversation has produced concrete work. Tickets carry the outcome, priority, dependencies, acceptance criteria, workspace, and history that an agent needs to act without guessing.

comment records decisions, discoveries, blockers, and concise progress updates with a timestamp.
handoff_ticket records the next owner and the context they need to continue safely.
record_validation attaches test, lint, build, or review evidence before work closes.
attach_git_evidence connects a ticket to its branch, commit, changed files, and diff summary.
Run Relay locally
Create a Relay project for the approved plan. Add tickets with priorities and acceptance criteria, assign workspaces, then show the ready and blocked work before launching agents.
