Data Quality Tools for AI Agents: Validate CSV, JSON, and SQLite Before Analysis

Use local MCP data quality checks, reusable contracts, structured queries, and document extraction to give AI agents trustworthy data context.

Agents can summarize any file they receive. Reliable agents first establish whether the file deserves to be trusted.

Start with explicit checks

data_quality_check reads CSV, JSON, JSONL, and SQLite locally. It checks duplicate keys, null thresholds, type drift, invalid email fields, and optional referential gaps. It reports counts and categories rather than guessing at a data-cleaning action.

Move from one-off checks to contracts

data_contract_check turns data expectations into checked-in JSON: required columns, unique keys, nullability, enums, regex patterns, and numeric ranges. Pair it with structured_data_query for bounded filtering and aggregation, then use file_extract when evidence begins in a PDF or Office document.
